Living Room / House Concerts
mr. RAY (Ray Andersen) is now available for what is known as a Living Room/House Concert.
Well-known artists to classical musicians have been performing living room concerts for a while now.
What is a mr. RAY House Concert?
A house concert/ living room show is a private concert held in your home.
It does not have to be your child's birthday party or any other event tied to a special occasion.
These shows will combine mr. RAY's songs for children and Rock Classics,
and an open mic section for kids AND adults too! In other words, mr. RAY can perform at your home, or perhaps a place you rent,
as if it's a real concert! These shows are 60-90 minutes in length. They can feature mr. RAY solo, and/or with additional musicians.
If you and your family love music and want to go further than spinning CD's for that next party, perhaps you might consider a mr. RAY Living Room / House Concert.
Above all: Don't confuse the entertainment with background music.
At a house concert, the musician is the star. You, the spouse and kids aren't just party hosts, but self-styled concert promoters.
Seats and eats.
To make your home a cozy concert nook, push couches to the sides, move tables out of the room and line up assorted chairs,
with bar stools in the back to give the last row a height advantage. Need more chairs? Invite the neighbors, and borrow theirs.
You = emcee squared.
The ambience is set by the host.
You'll be not only party host and greeter, but also the announcer and master of ceremonies.
Give people a little social time before the show. Then make an announcement, and let them know there's some structure to the evening.

Lots of house concerts end with song circles where you and your guests break out instruments to jam and sing.
